About the TLC Family
The “7 Little Johnston’s” are a very well known family across the TV and social media. More specifically, they made an appearance in one of the reality shows on the TLC series channel in several seasons. They have showcased their life as a family in 13 seasons so far. However, recently, the premiere of season 14th aired for the public to stream it. A lot of things will go down in this new season, while Elizabeth will be making tough decisions, her siblings are also going to be going through different situations.
Meanwhile, their parents, will be living life, creating more memories, going through exciting adventures. According to AdvanceLocal (AL.com), “During episode one of the new season, Elizabeth makes a big decision about her relationship with Brice while Amber and Trent try out body painting. Meanwhile, Anna buys a new home and starts the process of moving in while Jonah and Alex write love letters to their girlfriends.”
Overall, The “7 Little Johnston’s” family showcase the good and the bad of all aspects of their lives. Also they advocate about their condition known as “achondroplasia.” They want people to be informed about it, especially because a lot of people don’t know about it and they criticize and laugh at them. Which is something that is totally not appropriate to any human being. All in all they want for people to learn and enjoy watching how them reach their goals, have fun, interact with others and more.
7 Little Johnston’s Family Members and Elizabeth’s Pregnancy
Furthermore, the “7 Little Johnston’s” family consists of the following individuals:
- Trent, (Father, 47).
- Amber, (Mother, 44).
- Jonah, (biological son, 24).
- Elizabeth, (biological daughter, 22).
- Anna, (adopted daughter, 23).
- Alex, (adopted son, 18).
- Emma, (adopted daughter, 18).
Now, as many know, reality star, Elizabeth was pregnant with her first baby and the “7 Little Johnston’s” Parents express fear for Elizabeth’s baby delivery. She first announced her pregnancy with her partner, Brice Bolden, on Instagram, a couple of months prior before she gave birth. Fans were really happy and excited for her and baby.

Meanwhile, throughout the journey of Elizabeth’s pregnancy her parents were worried, especially because of her genetic condition. Not to mention, her mother Amber, was way more concerned that her father, Trent. One of the main reasons was because, when a person has achondroplasia, it can make giving birth more risky than the average woman.
According to an interview with People, Amber stated the following, “So for Elizabeth, she has to have a c-section under general anesthesia, so therefore she’s put to sleep completely, which is really, really challenging when it comes to getting a baby out fast and our pelvis is too narrow and in a sense kind of fused.”
Nonetheless, Elizabeth was not worried one bit, she was over the moon and eagerly waiting for her baby’s arrival. Amber expressed that her daughter takes things with the same attitude as her father, she said “Elizabeth is very much like her father, where, everything’s going to be fine, my partner’s average size, so we will be okay genetically. The baby will either be little or big. It doesn’t matter. We’re fine. It’s great.”
The Family Has Grown
Now, like mentioned above, the “7 Little Johnston’s” parents express fear for Elizabeth’s baby delivery and besides the fear that they expressed, both parents had one more worry, which was when the official time to deliver her baby was going to come, the hospitalization. Amber and Trent were not going to be able to go in with Elizabeth to the operating room, since she was getting a c-section.
Trent said, “This was the very first time Amber hadn’t gone back with one of our kids. With all the surgeries our kids have had, Amber and I always been the one to walk them back to the OR room and to kiss and say bye, and ‘We’ll be right outside when you come into recovery.'” Now this time it was going to be Brice, her partner, to go in with her.
Overall, this experience involved a rollercoaster of emotions for everyone, but finally, Elizabeth welcomed her baby on Nov. 3, 2023, and named her Leighton. Later on November 6, she posted a photo of her daughter, and she put on the caption the following, “We couldn’t be more in love with you!!!” Her entire family is in love and over the moon with the new family member. With this a new member is incorporated in into the “7 Little Johnston’s” family.
