A Voice for the Voiceless
Chicago Leader primarily seeks to serve Black and Brown communities by providing print and online news communicated through the voices of trained citizen journalists residing in the communities we serve.
Ultimately, the publication aims to inspire readers with stories that can positively impact their lives and those around them. Through feature news and information, Chicago Leader will highlight stories that encourage and enable people to improve relationships and engage in dialogue wherever they are: in business or schools, in their families, neighborhoods, and social communities.
The Chicago Leader print newspaper will be delivered monthly to thousands of homes and businesses in Westside Chicago communities.

Beginning in the November edition, Chicago Leader will spotlight people in the community who make a difference in the lives of youth. Nominate a person below and tell us about the difference they make; big or small.
In addition, readers can participate in the monthly Scavenger Hunt. A lucky winner will receive a gift. They can keep an eye on how the high school sports teams in their neighborhood are performing and discover an exciting event to attend.
Most importantly, enjoy quality civic-minded news written with you in mind.
