Republican Bailey Dissing the People of Chicago

This Republican has quite the reputation for himself, but of course what is politics but someone looking down on the people they claim to support? Recently, Bailey moved into the former John Hancock Center which is known as one of Chicago’s famously well-known grand buildings, to submerge himself into the civilization. The city he grimly nicknamed a “hellhole.” He was originally a state Senator and downstate farmer. He set foot in Chicago for a while holding down an unscripted news conference in the West Loop in the afternoon on Tuesday at an intersection where two out-of-town tourists were assaulted and robbed on Monday before.

Bailey was asked if he was living in Chicago which he confirmed by saying “We are.” Later on, Sun-Times was told and affirmed by Bailey’s campaign that he was renting at 875 North Michigan — a 100-story high-rise that was also known before to the many generations of Chicagoans as the John Hancock Center.

He stated that he wanted to submerge himself into the Chicago culture but he criticized the entire city by saying that the city has “problems.” Bailey added that the problems will only get worse if nothing is being done about them. In order to better understand the community he insulted, Bailey submerged himself into the unfamiliar community. He understood that he had to do that if he was going to conduct this state of Illinois and make it what he believes is “a great state and a great city that it deserves to be.”

Although shootings and murders are normally lower in the city, he is still located in the downtown police district, the first one protects more of the 18th and Loop area. Shootings went up by 31% and murders up by 50%; crime altogether was up 51%.

These crimes include sexual assault, aggravated battery, robberies, murder, and other serious offenses. Bailey also told reporters that Chicago is like living in “The Purge,” and when criminals are allowed to do as they please, and the cops sit by while crime continues to happen. “The Purge” is a horror film franchise that was very popular from 2013 to 2021. The film was about all types of different crimes becoming legal for 24 hours. Just a little insight into what “Purge” means in the context he uses it.

Gov. J.B Pritzker had attempted to communicate about the SAFE-T Act to address the long-established police distrust and public safety issues, but it has been criticized by the Republicans for its purveying to end cash bail, but there were no “non-detainable offenses” under the new estimate, and judges will still be in charge of determining whether someone permitted for pretrial release. But as Bailey had stated on Tuesday he had “nothing to do with that” ad where a woman was attacked with a loud pitching scream and Pritzker had referred to the ad as fear-mongering and racist.

Since it is produced by “People Who Play By The Rules, an independent expenditure committee” it was not directly tied to the “Republican campaign”,  according to the federal campaign rules. Bailey was given millions of dollars since he launched his campaign by GOP megadonor and Dick Uihlein had also contributed to PAC by giving him $20 million. Bailey stated that they needed to come to and wake people up so that they can also understand the situation with everything that was going on. He raise awareness and stated when he was asked about his own personal judgment of the intense commercial. Bailey said that because that’s how real it is in some areas of the city. They might not understand it.
