Marines in the United States
Marines do a lot for the United States. However, they are very underappreciated, and many people do not show gratitude for what they do. However, there are many benefits that they receive for the service that they provide for this country. Unfortunately, there are many Marines that are also taken advantage of, and that is a really unfortunate issue that plagues the U.S. Yet again, there was another issue involving Marines and teenagers, and it got incredibly violent in the process.
Triage of Marines Attacked by Mob of Teenagers
There were only three Marines there at the time. They simply had one request from these teenagers, and unfortunately, it had gotten incredibly violent within a short period of time. “Shocking video has captured a mob of up to 40 teens viciously beating a trio of off-duty Marines who say they’d merely asked them to stop lighting fireworks on a California beach,” according to the New York Post. These three men had only one request, as they were enjoying the memorial day.
“A minute-long video posted on Nextdoor, a social media platform for neighbors, shows one person throwing a punch at one of the alleged victims from behind before a large fight breaks out. The injured victim is then seen lunging at his assailant, and then the mob was filmed kicking the victims,” according to Fox News.
There was obvious self-defense by the Marines, as one of these teenagers had tried to jump and attack one of the men. Therefore, that gave him enough reason to lunge at the teenagers, in which everyone else began to attack the man.
The Future of This Incident
This was certainly not how these three marines wanted to spend Memorial Day. However, there will hopefully be justice that comes upon each of these teenagers. These marines have certainly come out of this violent attack very shaken up, as this attack was completely uncalled for.
Many people agree that these three men did not deserve what happened to them on Memorial Day. There is hope, among the entire nation, that each of these teenagers faces the consequences of their actions.
