Who is Ceejay?
Ceejay is an 18-year-old kid from the city of Chicago. He graduated from Michele Clark High School, and will soon be a freshman at NIU. He’s played many sports in his life, but he primarily plays football, basketball, and boxing. For his whole life, his dad has been the coach for every team he played on. That’s one of his biggest supporters. He’s also a pretty big gamer when he isn’t making music or working out.
He loves the art of music and everything about it, the melodies, the hooks, the meanings behind the song. It’s all he can think of. At the beginning of summer in the year 2022, he vowed that he would start making his own music and eventually make it into the industry.
Back in Middle School, he used to do little freestyles at the lunch table with his friends as a joke, but he soon saw that he can communicate all of his feelings through his music and go far with it.
Despite his love of making music, he’s not much of a talker. If he’s in the same room as you, he’ll most likely be sitting off alone with his headphones on thinking about he can get more exposure. About two weeks ago, his mom asked if he was interested in a great summer job and introduced me to The New School.
