Technology is a tool that keeps progressing as time goes by and as people innovate and incorporate new tools to the technology we have today. One of the many new innovations launched today in the 21st century is a new form of AI. More specifically, Microsoft launched there new AI which is said to be an AI-power version of its Dynamics 365 Field Service platform.
Microsoft new AI software was created and is meant to be utilized by frontline managers and workers. The AI is design to help workers create a more fast environments. In regarding to the response time for services and repairs in the field. Additionally, the new AI is also meant to help workers speed up the orders received, as well as provide employees with real-time remote workers in case anything goes wrong.

Further. more integrations into Microsoft AI, enhances it’s capabilities and adds to the qualities that the new AI has. For instance, service managers will benefit from the AI as they will now be able to generate, the schedules and oversee work orders, all from the comfort of their workflow, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams.
Employees will also be able to alleviate some of the burden left behind from all the work they go through. Such as, alleviate workers from all the essential, yet exhausting procedures they go through. Managers will also be able to gain greater visibility into task pertaining to their teams and location. This new input will come from the history of Teams chat and emails.
Frontline Workers
The new Microsoft AI has been incorporated into their system for a numerous amounts of reasons. However, a survey conducted by Trend Index concluded that approximately 60% of their employees struggle to do repetitive tasks. Which adds to the reason why the AI was included into their working system. Microsoft goal is to help their workers and help them any way possible as was sated by employees and concluded in an additional survey. For example:
- A Microsoft employee said, “Microsoft is committed to investing in innovative solutions to help frontline workers thrive.”
- Furthermore, another survey conducted by Microsoft said, “With AI transforming productivity across most segments of the workforce, our survey found that 65% of frontline workers are optimistic that AI will help them in their jobs.”
Microsoft VS Other Companies
Moreover, Microsoft has also informed that they have intentions on charging customers $30 per user per month for its Microsoft 365 Copilot. All intended to be launched on July 18 of this year. The announcement boosted shares up to 4%.
Microsoft’s intentions with the charging of the system and the way they are realizing information. Is to be able to get ahead of any other company competitions in the AI wars. This is done to protect themselves and there new system, since Microsoft has invested billions to the technology. Including a multi-year, multi-billion dollar deal the company did with ChatGPT.
Microsoft has rivals like Google, Amazon and more. Who are waiting on the sidelines for the title of the most dominant force on the space of the new AI system.
Support
The new AI feature is meant to help workers as mentioned before. The AI is a support system for the employees. In order to guide the workers and help them better understand consumers and make their shopping experience more pleasant.
Microsoft wants to create a more trusted environment and connect with their workers by providing solutions that will integrate with the retailers’ existing system.
