The ‘Rigged’ Election of 2020
At 79 years Giuliani was liable for initiating Trump’s attempt to persuade the lawmakers in Georgia (and other contested states) to overlook votes and illegally appoint more electoral college electors who could favor Trump.

In the 2020 Georgia election, Biden had 49.5% while Trump had 49.2%. Trump prompted the idea to his allies that the election was rigged after losing by just a few numbers. Even then, Trump has a “longstanding history of calling elections ‘rigged’ if he doesn’t like the results,” according to ABC news.
The Reason Giuliani Was Arrested
Wednesday Morning in New York, he left his apartment. He mentioned that since he’s been representing Trump he’s always been “fighting for justice.”
As the reporters lined up he said the following statement: “I’m feeling very, very good about it because I feel like I am defending the rights of all Americans, as I did so many times as a United States attorney.”
Trump, a runner in the 2024 Republican presidential primary, claimed he plans to turn himself in at the Fulton County Jail on Thursday. He and his allies described this investigation as “politically motivated” as well as denounced District Attorney Willis as a Democrat.
While being questioned Giuliani left this statement in the air, Donald Trump told you this: “They weren’t just coming for him or me, now they’ve indicted people in this case – I don’t even know who they are. These are just regular people making a normal living.”
Last week, Willis went as far as to create a deadline for all indicted people involved in the election subversion case to turn themselves in. They set the deadline for noon on Friday. Before they surrender at the jail, Willis and her team arrange the amount of bond and conditions with lawyers for the defendants.
The Rest of Trumps Associates
Wednesday, a $100,000 bond was made for the ‘Trump- allied’ lawyer Sidney Powell. She is just one of the many people who had been held responsible for breaches of voting equipment in the rural area of coffee county, down in South Georgia. As the breach happened, Misty Hampton, a Coffee County elections director had her bond put at $10,000.
On this same day, David Shafter and Cathy Latham also turned themselves in that morning. For backstory, Shafter is a former Georgia Republican Party chair who also served as one of the 16 fake electors for Trump. Someone called out Latham as a fake elector in the Coffee breach. Lawyers Ray Smith and Kenneth Chesebro are also surrendering. Their prosecutors mentioned that they helped organize false electors at the state capital in December 2020.
John Eastman, an attorney who pushed for Trump to remain in power, had also turned himself in Tuesday. Along with him, bail bondsman, Scott Hall, was said to have participated in the breach of election equipment in Coffee County.
Releasing Mug Shots
The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office stated that they will “release booking photos at 4 p.m.” each day. Following this Shafer created a post on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, right after 7 a.m. Wednesday. The message reads: “Good morning! #NewProfilePicture.”
Republicans caused an uproar when they heard that Willis indicted Trump, and even claimed that she should be punished. Meanwhile, on Wednesday, outside the state Capitol in Atlanta, Black pastors and community activists gathered together to pray and show their support for the Democratic prosecutor.
