Dumpling Her Story
Dogs are man’s best friend and they have one of the purest souls in the world. They show love, appreciation and gratitude to those who care about them and treat them with love and affection. However, for many dogs this is not always the case and we will never understand why. Many dogs are physically and mentally abused by their owners. These dogs are beaten, malnourished, and abused by the person who is supposed to love them the most. Furthermore, many dogs are defenseless in the face of this abuse and end up suffering the most because their innocence prevent them from understanding what is happening to them.
This is the heartbreaking but ultimately wonderful story of Dumpling, a dog who had a rough start but ended up with the best happy ending. Dumpling is an unfortunate dog who was abandoned on the streets and had to fend for herself. However, that’s not the worst part of the story. Dumpling was also deliberately starved by the owner to the point that she was almost no longer alive and extremely weak, unable to even move.
Luckily, after being seen on the street. Dumpling was captured by animal control and taken to Paws Chicago, a no-kill shelter. She is receiving the best care possible. Now, millions of people know her story thanks to a social media post about her journey. Moreover, Dumpling is currently doing very well, she holds no grudges, is eager to trust, love, cuddle and live despite someone’s cruelty.
Nonetheless, after a difficult journey and experience, she finally finds herself in a foster home where she can continue to recover, but most of all she receives a lot of love, attentions and is pampered in the most loving way possible.
Leaving a Dog Behind
Furthermore, abandoning a dog simply because of no longer wanting it or because it has become too difficult to care for is illegal, unethical and heartbreaking. Every individual has choices and every dog deserves a chance. Leaving a dog behind is not necessarily and individuals first or only choice, there are many resources and steps a person can take to prevent dog abandonment from becoming an option. This action is one of the cruelest things a person can. Dog’s go from having it all, to losing it al and he/a doesn’t even know why.
In addition, the following are a few of the tragedies and obstacles a dog experiences after being abandon on the streets by their owner:
- These dogs leave in constant fear and are force to take care of themselves.
- They are exposed to hunger, thirst and have to experience extreme whether conditions.
- They lack the proper medical attention and have to face disease, and infections.
- Ultimately without the proper care and attention many become sick and die.
How to Care for this Animals
Additionally, after being abused, neglected, and abandoned, these dogs need attention, love, time, and dedication. Also, helping abused dogs is always a big step forward and a heartbreaking journey for the person wanting to adopt or foster one. For this reason, here is some advice that a person who is or whishes to care for a previously abused dog can follow:
- Provide a safe space. Allow this dog to adapt at their own pace don’t force them into anything.
- Take care of their basic needs. Create a strict schedule for feeding, give them access to water and provide regular checkups to a veterinarian.
- Also, Identify Triggers. Closely observe your dog and try to identify all the small actions that trigger fear. After identifying the triggers try to remove them from the environment.
- Additionally, show them love. This is the best wat to earn your dogs trust.
Lastly, every dog deserves to be happy, to have a home and a person that will love them and take care of them. No dog should ever be abuse under any given situation this actions are extremely devastating and heartbreaking
