Peter Griffin, the main character of “Family Guy,” has now appeared as a “Fortnite” skin. Within the game, players are allowed to customize their appearance using “skins.” Peter Griffin is one of the main characters of the long-running adult animated show “Family Guy.”
Peter is a character that is meant to represent the millennials who grew up obsessed with 1980s and 1990s pop culture. Furthermore, he is defined by his obsession with film and the values he learned from watching movies in his youth. Peter Griffin is a plus size white man who is consistently referred to as being in his early-to-mid 40s.

What Does This Mean for the Image of ‘Family Guy’
“Family Guy” is an animated show that has been on the air for over 20 years. In that time, there have been cancellation scares, and times where the fans thought the show was going to end. Yet, “Family Guy” is here, and Peter Griffin is in “Fortnite.”
Peter is now a part of the pop culture mix and mash that is “Fortnite.” Furthermore, many people believe that Peter entrance into “Fortnite” means that more mature characters will begin to be a part of the game.
However, characters like “Rick and Morty,” and the cast of “Futurama” prove this take incorrect. Additionally, “Rick and Morty” and “Futurama” are adult animated shows that delve into heavy topics like suicide, and the nature of God.
How To Get the Peter Griffin Skin
The Peter Griffin skin can be unlocked on level 70 of the Battle Pass. Essentially, if one plays the game long enough and well enough, they could have the skin in no time. However, the battle pass itself is not free, the “Fortnite” battle pass costs 950 “V bucks.” Furthermore, one can either acquire “V bucks” directly from the in game store, or through the free version of the battle pass Unfortunately, it will take multiple seasons to acquire enough through the free version.
Finally, each level of the battle pass takes 80,000 experience points to level up in. One can gain experience points through several means. Completing quests, surviving until there are few players left, or simply eliminating many players within the game will accrue many experience points. In conclusion, there is a now a skin to represent the fans of one of the greatest long running animated sitcoms.
