Police Arrest Pennsylvania Man After Posting Video of Dad’s Head

Man Posted Video of His Dads Head On YouTube

A Pennsylvania man, Justin Mohn, 32, was arrested and charged of murder. As well as posting a video of his fathers decapitated head on YouTube. On Tuesday around 7 p.m. there was a police report about possible murder.  Police were called to the Mohn home on Upper Orchard Drive in Levittown, Middletown Township.

The video had over 5,000 views before it had finally been removed.  He is currently being held without bond. Mohn has been charged with murder, abuse of a corpse, and other charges, Pennsylvania court documents show. When the officials arrived, they found his dad’s dead body in the bathroom. There was blood surrounding the body. Additionally, investigators found a large kitchen knife and a machete on the tub.

Pennsylvania Police Investigate Further

The investigating officials also said that they found Mohn’s head in a trash bag. The victims wife had told the investigators that she had seen both of the Mohn’s last around 2 p.m. However, when she got home later on she noticed that her husband’s car, as well as her son, were missing. Furthermore, not long after that she had called the police.

PennsylvaniaLater after the police call from the wife, the police had learned about the video. The video was 14 minutes and 35 seconds long and was titled “Mohn’s Militia – Call to Arms for American Patriots.” Furthermore, in the video, the Pennsylvania man picks up his father’s decapitated head and states, “he is now in hell for eternity.” According to the report Justin was wearing the same gloves in the video, that were found in the bedroom with blood.

“The bigger picture is extremely concerning, I think, as we go into what will be an incredibly heated political season,” CNN Law Enforcement Analyst and former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe said.

The Events to Capture Him

“We didn’t know where he was going and what his intentions were when he left here, “Middletown Township Police Capt. Pete Feeney said. “Fortunately, we were able to get a location based on his cellphone.”

His cellphone had pinged in a couple different areas, as officers attempted to locate the suspected killer. The last place it pinged, right before the found him, was inside the National Guard base. When officers approached Mohn, he was armed with a gun. Although there was no incidents reported during he time of the arrest, which was around 9:29 p.m.

“We didn’t know where he was going and what his intentions were when he left here,” Middletown Township Police Capt. Pete Feeney said. “Fortunately, we were able to get a location based on his cellphone.”

Prior To Mohn’s Outburst

Court documents have shown the Pennsylvania man relied on student loans to get through his college education at Penn State. Apparently, he had struggled with finding a job after graduating, and had multiple law suits against the government.

In those cases, NBC10’s Brian Sheehan learned, Mohn alleged that the government, “negligently and fraudulently induced him to borrow money to pay for his education without sufficiently warning him of the possibility that he would face a difficult job market and could be unable to pay back his loan.”

Courts dismissed the first two of these cases and a judge denied the third after the Pennsylvania man didn’t pay a $2,000 filing fee. During that time there was a court document saying “Mohn swore to having over $2000 in his bank account and he only spent his money to buy marijuana for recreational and medical use.”

In 2020, the Pennsylvania man took his former employer to court claiming that he was terminated as the result of sexual discrimination against men.

Many of his neighbors knew that this man needed help. And a lot of them said that the man was unhinged.

The Following Actions Taken

Mohn has been charged with murder, possession of an instrument of crime, and abuse of a corpse. Mohn had been held without bail, and has a court date on February 8.

The Associated Press emailed the court clerk’s office to see if he had a lawyer yet. An attorney for Mohn wasn’t listed in court records last Wednesday morning. However, since then a person answering the phones at Bucks County Office of the Public Defender stated they were representing him.
