Drone Attacks
This is now the second drone attack that has been carried out by alleged Iranian backed militia. This seems to be a retaliatory move, after the US had launched several strikes against Iranian backed targets. Drone attacks are starting to become a whole lot more prevalent by these militias and are certainly something that need to be looked out for. However, they can be very hard to spot, and can therefore lead to pure devastation in their wake.
Why Is This Significant? How Many Lives Were Lost?
This is very significant considering there were US soldiers that were on this Syrian base. There were a couple of lives that were unfortunately lost, and they were US allies. There were 6 Kurdish soldiers that died because of this drone attack.
Additionally, it seems that once again this drone was unable to be tracked, and therefore many people suffered because of it. Many wonder if this could have been prevented, and the answer is still not yet available. There are still many details about this incident that have yet to be released to the public.

If the US will respond in any matter is also another point that is yet to be discussed, but it seems very likely. The reason being, is that 6 of their allies were murdered as a result of this drone attack.
Additionally, retired colonel Joe Buccino shows how the strikes that were carried out by the US may seem unlikely to do any harm. He also mentioned that the Biden administration may side with ‘promoting’ this to a wider conflict, depending on the way President Biden wants to go about this.
Tensions are Definitely Increasing
Tensions have yet to decrease, and after this retaliatory move by Iran-backed militias, it is clear that war may be wanted. President Biden, if he sends strikes, may want to weaken these militias in any way that he can.
He will also do anything he can to make sure it is carried out. Therefore, many are afraid that this move may lead to a possible war, and that is something that everyone wants to avoid.
