Climate Change
Many wildfires happen as a result of climate change/global warming. As the earth warms, it becomes easier for wildfires to occur, and they are absolutely devastating. Several lives are lost as a result of these wildfires. However, climate change is certainly combatable, and it takes a group effort to be able to do it. However, not many people are helping to spread awareness to this unfortunate situation, and therefore wildfires, and terrible natural disasters continue to occur because of the lack of effort.
Chile Wildfires Leave Many Dead
As a result of the increase in temperature, there has been another wildfire that has occurred in Chile. This one seems absolutely devastating, as there has been a count so far of more than 100 people that have passed away because of it. The wind that was blowing during the wildfire, also caused it to spread even more, which only made matters worse.
Wildfires are incredibly difficult to diminish, as they continue to spread and get worse every second that passes. This certainly was the case, as it began on Friday, and in the early hours on Monday it seems to have finally settled down. However, that does not go without saying that several homes, around 3,000, were burned down.

Despite there being more than 100 people that have passed away, there are still hundreds that are missing. There is a hope that they are found safe, but it is very unlikely considering the damage that this wildfire has done. However, there are still search parties and rescue teams that are conducting searches, ensuring that they find and help everyone that they can.
Future of Wildfires
It is safe to say that everything is being done in Chile to help remedy the situation. This has left many families absolutely devastated and torn apart. Additionally, it is unclear if there will be any other locales that will get involved in any type of rescue effort.
It would certainly be ideal, and certainly is something that Chile needs in this time. The hope is that the missing persons are identified and are brought back home to safety.
