The Release of the New Fantastic Four Movie and other Marvel Movies
For all the Marvel fans, there is great news. Marvel Studios has now announced on a Valentine’s day card-theme Instagram post, who the new cast members for the reboot of the iconic “The Fantastic Four” movie will be. First and foremost they are all very outstanding, dedicated and and successful actors that have achieved numerous recognition awards in regards to their roles played in a variety of movies.
Marvel Studios also revealed that the new movie will hit theaters on July 25, 2025. Besides the great news of the movie release, they have also announced that there will also be another movie premiered which is “Thunderbolts.” The release date for “Thunderbolts” is now set for May 2, 2025. That is not it for 2025, along with these two, “Captain America: Brave New World” will be released in February and “Blade” on November. The upcoming year of 2025 is coming loaded with thrilling and powerful movies for the family to enjoy.
New Casting for “The Fantastic Four”
Furthermore, now, regarding the cast members, the superhero quartet, the first characters created for Marvel Comics by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby for this awaited Marvel movie will be the following:
- Pedro Pascal will play Reed Richards also known as Mr. Fantastic.
Pascal recently received an Emmy nomination for his lead role in HBO’s The Last of Us. Next is:

- Vanessa Kirby, she will play Mr. Fantastic’s girlfriend, Sue Storm, also known as Invisible Woman.
Kirby is best known for her appearance in The Crown as the sister of Queen Elizabeth II. Her most recent role has been in the Netflix Movie, “Napoleon.” Next will be:
- Ebon Moss-Bachrach, he will play the role of Ben Grimm also known as The Thing.
Moss-Bachrach received the Emmy award for best supporting actor in a comedy series called “The Bear” last month. He is most known for his role in The Punisher. Last but not least will be:
- Joseph Quinn, he will play the role of Johnny Storm, also known for The Human Torch.
Quinn is best known for his role and appearance as Eddie in Stranger Things.
This film will be directed by Matt Shakman, which is mostly known for TV work that he has previously done, including episodes of Wanda Vision, Succession and The Great.
Original and Sequels of the Fantastic Four Movie
The original movie starred Ioan Gruffudd, Jessica Alba, Michael Chiklis and Chris Evans. Their respective character roles were previously brought to the screen in 2005. Then a sequel came out later in 2007. The sequel was led by Chris Evans and Jessica Alba. Both films combined made a total of about $630 million worldwide.
Furthermore, Fox channel also produced their reboot of the “Fantastic Four” in 2015. Particularly in this film the superhero roles were played by Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Jamie Bell and Michael B. Jordan. Ultimately, this specific movie was very given a lot of negative feedback and a box office bomb.
Overall, these characters are very appreciated by Marvel fans because their recognition goes all the way back to 1978, when they were first created in 1961. Fans are really excited for this new one to be released. Also cast members are very eager and excited to appear in this version of the film. According to Kirby, she stated last November that she would be “honoured” to participate in this movie.
