Trump Tower Defaced

This week, pro-Palestinian and anti-Israeli graffiti appeared on Chicago’s Trump Tower. Messages such as “Free Palestine,” “Israel Bombs USA Pays,” and “Trump 4 Palestine” were among them.

Staff at the hotel reported that the graffiti was removed late on Monday. It was painted on the outside of one of the lower levels of the building, which has a view of the Chicago River.

The date of the painting is unknown. Chicago police officials stated they had no information regarding the incident.

NEW YORK (AP) — Three times in less than a week, a “Black Lives Matter” mural that was painted on the sidewalk in front of President Donald Trump’s namesake skyscraper in New York City has been vandalized with paint buckets.

In the most recent instance, two ladies were detained at approximately 3 p.m. on Saturday, according to the police. For allegedly pouring black paint over the block-long painting outside Trump Tower on posh Fifth Avenue in Manhattan.

As one of the women wiped paint on the bright yellow letters of the mural and said, “They don’t care about Black lives,” and “Refund the police,” bystander video showed police officers encircling her.

Being Injured

Authorities claim one of the officers injured his head and broke his arm when he fell to the ground after tripping over some paint. Earlier his status at Bellevue Hospital was listed as stable.

A spokeswoman for the police department stated that the names of the women and the specifics of any possible charges against them were not immediately available.

City Crisis

The largest police union in the city, the PBA, released a statement saying “we are thankful that our brother is going to be fine, but this kind of thing has to stop.

Eventually this city is in a state of crisis, and painting on the street doesn’t help.” The vandalism on Saturday came less than a day after three individuals were captured on surveillance video on Friday afternoon spraying blue paint on a mural while a woman scrawled flyers on it that appeared to be referring to the shooting death of an infant in Brooklyn, according to police.

Above all a short time later, police found the trio near the mural with blue paint covering their hands and clothes. According to a surveillance video. Certainly one of the individuals was wearing an “All Lives Matter” shirt and other apparel supporting President Donald Trump.

According to police, the woman, 64-years-old, was served with a criminal summons for unlawful distribution of flyers. Although police released a photo of one of those flyers, which appears to have been designed as an internet meme.

The flyer features a close up photo of one of the shooting victims, David Gardner Jr., under the words. “DID MY LIFETIME MATTER,” with an accompanying crying emojis.

Next to Gardner`s photo become a message written in purple marker: “I wasn`t killed via way of means of a cop. I become killed via way of means of a Black person. Where`s BLM?”
