Donald Trump’s Criminal Hush Money Case
Donald Trump has been facing a lot of backlashes as of late. He has been seen quite a bit in court and has been trying to prove his innocence. However, it seems that nothing is working for Trump. In this hush money case, Donald Trump was charged with 34 counts of falsifying business records, in order to avoid making clear his affair with adult star Stormy Daniels.
Essentially, this was reimbursements that were made to his former lawyer Michael Cohen, that were never reported of being made, hence the name, ‘hush money.’
Gag Order Placed on Trump Once Again
Trump has had to endure multiple gag orders, ensuring that Donald Trump is barred from saying anything about the case whatsoever. Furthermore, this would be the first criminal trial on a former president to occur in history, which was ordered by the judge. It is stated that this criminal trial will be carried out on April 15th, which is in the coming weeks.
However, Trump is extremely upset about the gag orders. He claims that this is a violation of his first amendment rights. However, that has not stopped the judge from ordering this gag order and ensuring that it is carried out to the fullest.

In depth, this gag order prevents Trump from making comments about potential witnesses, jurors, court staff and their families, and other lawyers. Furthermore, Donald Trump has continued to plead not guilty to all 34 counts. However, the true nature of this claim will be studied on the 15th of April. This is when the trial is scheduled to be carried out.
The Future of Trump’s Campaign
Trump, despite all of the attention and the court dates, is insistent in his running for presidency in 2024. He has made clear that this will not cause him to back down from running. Instead, it will make him want to run even more, and gain more of the American support. However, if he is found guilty of the 34 counts, it is unclear if he will be receiving jail-time, and if he does, his run for presidency may come to an ever-abrupt halt.
