What Occurred?
Alec Baldwin has been a well-known actor for years. There were many that had looked up to him. He had left an important legacy in the world of acting. However, due to a recent event that ended the life of actor Halyna Hutchins on the set of ‘Rust,’ many people are concerned about his mental health, and his lack of concern. There were several people that worked with him on this set. Every person he had worked with had a similar view of Alec Baldwin. They all seemed to mention the fact that he was careless, and that he showed no concern for any of those he worked around. Therefore, this contributed to a hostile work environment.
In addition to Alec Baldwin’s sentencing, Hannah Gutierrez, who loaded the live round into the gun that Baldwin used, is also being sentenced to involuntary manslaughter next week.
New Information Released
Those that were on this set when this happened, could all agree that Alec Baldwin was not capable to work with people around him. They explained that he would curse at himself, others around him, and would be angry for no apparent reason. “To watch Mr. Baldwin’s conduct on the set of ‘Rust’ is to witness a man who has absolutely no control of his own emotions and absolutely no concern for how his conduct affects those around him,” mentions prosecutor Kari Morissey.
It is clear that his actions had negatively influenced the environment. This has proven to have contributed to a negative environment all-around.
The Future of This Incident
It is unclear what the sentence for Alec Baldwin may be once convicted. However, for Hannah Gutierrez is receiving a sentence of up to 18 months in prison, with a mandatory $5,000 fine. Therefore, it is obvious that justice is to be served. However, nothing that is done will bring the life of Halyna Hutchins back. This should not have happened whatsoever. There should have been more precautions put in place to ensure no live rounds were in this gun before using it in the set. Therefore, many lives have been impacted by this particular incident.
