Police are braced for more deaths when a bus believed to have been transporting migrant farm workers appeared in the news. Tuesday, May 14, a north-central Florida state highway bus killed 8 and injured 45 migrant farm worker. Subsequently, the bus carrying roughly 53 farm workers collided with a 2001 Ford Ranger around 6:35 a.m. roughly 15 miles west of Ocala, according to a Florida Highway Patrol statement.
Bryan Maclean Howard, 41-years-old, who drove the Ford Ranger truck, was apprehended and charged with eight counts of operating under the influence and homicide, according to a Florida Highway Patrol report.
