Calling all gamers, “Assassin’s Creed Mirage” is set to get its own suit devised to allow users to feel punches and parkour. The haptic feedback vest will allow people to submerge themselves into the game as they scavenge, fight, and make their way through 19th-century Baghdad. In order to create the device, Ubisoft has partnered with OWO, to create the gaming suit.
“By leveraging OWO’s ground-breaking technologies and expertise, we are able to immerse players in the world, sounds, and sensations of Assassin’s Creed Mirage in an innovative and enhanced way,” said Fabian Salomon, lead producer at Ubisoft Bordeaux.
Compatibility
The gaming suit will be compatible with Xbox Series X/S, PC, and PS5. Moreover, the OWO Haptic Gaming System — “Assassin’s Creed Mirage” Edition — will come with:
- Charging cable.
- Storage pouch.
- 20 gel pads.
- The patented OWO Skin.
- And a game code.
Attempting to keep the gaming suit authentic, creators have given it an “Assassin’s Creed Mirage” style. Additionally, the vest will be made of lightweight lycra augmented with a series of haptic pads and high-conductivity electrodes. Furthermore, the vest will be completely wireless.
If they stay with the specs of Founders Edition, the battery will last eight hours. Founders Edition graphics cards are made directly by NVIDIA and it is the only version similar to the “Assassin’s Creeds Mirage.”
How It Works
Once the vest is donned, the user will be able to “feel all the impacts.” Additionally, they will also feel the parkour movements Basim makes in the game. Furthermore, the gamers will be able to customize the haptic sensations through the My OWO smartphone app.
The company has not given a release date for the “Assassin’s Creed Mirage” gaming suit, nor has the price been given. However, it is suspected to be compatible with games that are usable through the Foundation Edition. The new game itself will be released on October 12.
