Ukraine War
Ukraine has been fighting a war that has been ongoing for a couple of years now. There have been several casualties as a result of this war, and Russia continues to invade Ukraine. However, despite all the resources that Russia has, they have still not been able to take over Ukraine, which was their original plan.
Ukraine has been putting up a fight and defending their territory. Furthermore, Ukraine has also received an everlasting amount of support from the U.S primarily. Weapons packages, care packages, different resources the Biden Administration has provided for Ukraine.
$300 Million More Sent to Ukraine
However, despite this, many Americans are devastated to find out that more money is being sent to Ukraine. Despite this act being a great act, and supporting them is great as well, Americans would have hoped that money would have gone to them instead.
Many Americans feel that they are not receiving much support from President Joe Biden, even though he is the president of the United States. Additionally, there were already calculations made by the Biden Administration that there was no money left whatsoever, and still this package was sent out. It was made apparent that this money was made available due to weapons contracts.
Additionally, there are around $280 billion in Russian assets that the U.S is trying their best to seize. Therefore, this money can further support Ukraine in this time of need. However, it is safe to say that many Americans feel alone, and desperate for some sort of support from the government and the Biden Administration. This is support that unfortunately, they are not receiving.
The Future of This War
There is a hope that this war can get under control as soon as possible. If not, things can certainly escalate, and become even more deadly not only for Ukraine, but for the surrounding countries as well. Furthermore, many Americans hope that the Biden Administration can begin to use money to support them even more than they currently are. If that policy were to take into effect within the near future, it is certain that Americans would have a brighter, healthier future.
