The Firefighters Truck Rollover Crash
Late night on Tuesday, July 11, an unexpected accident occurred in the South Side of Chicago. At around the time of 11:25 p.m., a vehicle sped through a red light and collided with a firefighter’s truck.
In fact, according to the police, the impact of this incident caused the firetruck to flip on its side at the intersection of East 79th Street and King Drive.
The Follow-up of the Incident
Furthermore, due to this incident, five firefighters were affected by this crash collision. Therefore, they were all taken to a nearby hospital, where, fortunately; they were all listed in good condition.

On the other side, the driver that causes the incident did in fact suffer a few minor injuries, and he was transported to Advocate Trinity Hospital, where he was also listed in good condition.
As for the driver that caused the entire scene, he will be issued traffic citations for the reckless way that he was driving that night. Causing an entire accident that could have gone worse between this driver’s car and the firefighters’ truck.
This is why is very important that everybody wears their seatbelt because no one knows what could ever happen. In addition, even though crashes like this do occur between firetrucks and cars. It is still very unexpected for a firefighter’s truck to have a crash of this magnitude getting to the point of rolling over completely.
