Elon Musk and Neuralink
Elon Musk is responsible for creating Neuralink Corp. This corporation is testing a new theory that would allow people to do something never done before. It seems like something almost impossible to even imagine, and the fact that it could now be possible with this implant is extraordinary.
Musk and his team have been testing this implant for several years, ensuring that this will not cause any sort of negative repercussion. He was given the green light by the US food and drug administration to conduct these experiments on humans. Subsequently, as of recently, he has tried this experiment on the first human ever, and it was successful.
Neuralink Brain Chip Implant
Essentially, Neuralink implants chips into the brain of the human that is being given this procedure. After all is said and done, this human will be given what Elon Musk called “Telepathy”. Essentially, humans with this chip will be able to control computers with only a single thought. To many, this seems impossible, and some even laughed at this concept. However, it is coming into a reality as the first human patient has gotten out of surgery and is recovering well.

This Neuralink patient is far from the first to receive what is called a BCI. The first patient to receive and be trained using one was back in 2004. However, this patient had to use a very complex setup, that was not ideal whatsoever especially at home. However, Neuralink’s approach is different, as they are approaching a completely wireless approach. This will make it incredibly more convenient for the patient to complete their everyday tasks.
The Future of Technology
This is clearly the future of technology, being able to control things with your mind. It is something many people have yearned to do for so long, and is finally becoming a reality. However, many are going to agree that they will not want this procedure, as they do not trust having a chip implanted into their brain. Therefore, it is only a matter of whether or not people are willing to have this procedure done or not, as well as how much it will be.
