Gun Violence in Chicago
Dear mayor,
Gun violence affected so many lives including me within the community. It caused adults’ and surely children’s lives all around it also affected people’s mindsets and them going into depression about gun violence. However, most importantly safety is something that needs to be talked about within the communities with this particular situation it has something to do with gun violence. It’s one of the top first crimes that Chicago has an issue with that can’t really be dissolved in the U.S.
How big was the problem?
Guns have always been a pretty big problem in the city, according to the data.
Everywhere on the internet it has been increasing over the years and caused much more damage within the communities and also the inside the city. For example, gun violence doesn’t only cause people’s lives the people who go threw that particular problem will have low self-esteem.
It can cause residents to be desperate and that can also lead to their death. There’s some other evidence around the internet where it shows the U.S. and other states being compared on how many people get killed during shootouts. That also includes random attacks, gangs, and even threatening schools.
Bad Environments Where Residents Shoot in
The majority of the people are young men with guns That are doing the killing all around America. Chicago is one of the main cities that are dealing with shootouts. For example, it can be that bad within the community where people live in. The levels of gun violence mainly increase in their environments and anywhere else that’s in public for people to shoot other people.
The Population Between Race of Gun Possession
Within the U.S. People die each year from gun violence. majority of gun violence deaths in the U.S. comes from the black community. Other races have a similar problem but in the current system, African Americans suffer the most deaths from shootings. It’s unfortunate that most Black African Americans have to deal with gun violence and by that I mean Black women and Black young men.
Gun Violence, In Other Words
Gun violence is defined in many ways that are known in the U.S. For example, there are Other’s names for gun violence such as mass shootings, gun crime, and weapon use. All of these names for gun violence make it difficult to discuss.
Why are so many names for gun violence? That’s how bad gun violence is in Chicago this massive crime needs to be dealt with as soon as possible however there is safety we still have to cover at the same time.
Chicago Areas Where People Shoot in
Around the city, there are certain places and areas you can’t sadly attend to. Unless you live around there and what I mean by that is there are dangerous places people can’t necessarily go to depending on the timing because there are areas that people shoot in and possibly can get anyone targeted, especially children and teenagers because people who have guns can put children lives at risk at a young age.
The Gun Policy Within The City
There should be more gun policies to prevent gun violence within the city. There are some laws that come with guns in general and others facts with the gun policy in America there was always an issue with the gun policy because when it comes to guns people debated rather they just keep them legally and others perspectives love buying guns off of other people within the city.
Overall
Generally speaking, gun violence will forever be violent. In communities that are in Chicago and mostly all around, however, safety is an issue and residents need to protect their selves at all costs and most importantly children as well and that means people should buy guns to protect themselves but also doing it the legal way.
