One of the most known rock bands Hootie & the Blowfish will be on the road once more after five years. The tour is planned to be for the summer of next year and one of their stops will be right here in Chicago. The famous band has won several Grammy Awards and has made many singles that have taken the top spots on the charts. It is planned that the tour named “Summer Camp With Trucks” will take place in 43 cities not just in the U.S. but also in Canada. There will be two special guests tagging along with the Hootie & the Blowfish band, which are Edwin McCain and the Collective Soul.
The tour will start on May 30, 2024, and will end on September 28. Additionally, the first stop will be in Dallas which will continue all the way to West Palm Beach. Tickets for the tour will start selling on November ten. The tickets can be bought at the band’s website hootie.com. Additionally, there will be a variety of VIP packages. These different packages will offer a whole new experience for the fans. The benefits will be, that fans will be allowed backstage to meet the band and take photos with them. There will also be a VIP lounge for those who have access to it.
A little about Hootie & the Blowfish
The last time the Hootie & The Blowfish went on a full tour was back in 2019. They also had more than 25 million albums sold, including their two-time diamond-certified album named “Cracked Rear View,” which still holds the spot in the top ten best-selling albums in entire of music history. And that isn’t all it also is the 17 billboard charting songs to date.
The Hootie &the Blowfish band was made by Jim Sonefeld while he was in college at the University of South Carolina. The band is made of three more people which are Mark Bryan, Dean Felber, and the last member Darius Rucker.
