Tensions Between Houthis and US
There have been ever-escalating tensions with the Houthis, that have seemed to have gotten worse after the U.S. responded with their own attack a couple of weeks ago. However, it is unknown if the tensions will reach their limit, in which full-blown war will be the only option.
That is certainly something that is trying to be avoided at all costs, and civilians constantly panic over whether or not this will end up occurring. Additionally, U.S. political leaders, such as Joe Biden, said they will not back down no matter what. However, that may very well lead the U.S. to war with the Houthis.
Houthis Shoot Down Drone in Retaliation
After the strikes that the U.S. had send out to Iran-backed militias such as the Houthis themselves, they have decided to respond. Around the city of Hodeidah, Houthi militia fired a missile to the US-controlled drone. This is not the only time that they had done something of the nature. There have been around 3-4 other instances that something of the nature occurred, going back to 2019.
Therefore, this fighting has gone on for several years now, and no one can really say when it will stop, or if it will stop. All of this comes as the Houthis seem not to stop attacking ships on the Red Sea that are primarily used as trade routes.

Will There Be a War?
The hope remains that a war be avoided no matter what. However, the chances of that occurring are continually getting smaller and smaller as the time goes on. There needs to be a sort of peace treaty that is signed that can ensure a war never occur.
However, that first has to begin with the Houthi backing off from the Red Sea. This would be the start of what would be the end of a possible war. After all, what matters more is the safety and security of civilians, as they have little to no part in what occurs in the political world.
Therefore, being able to minimize the chances of a full-fledged war, or a world war, would benefit everyone substantially.
