Strategic Escapes
In the United States today, inmates are incredibly unpredictable, which makes being a corrections officer or any officer in general difficult. Furthermore, it is becoming more and more difficult to ensure that they do not escape under any means. However, there are times where escapes are not preventable, as somehow inmates are able to reach out to people to plan their escape.
It is unclear how they are able to do it, as prisons are heavily locked down. However, there has been an unfortunate incident in Idaho involving an escapee and many accomplices, that hurt a couple of correctional officers.
What Exactly Happened?
As correctional officers were transporting an inmate to receive medical treatment. However, things took a completely drastic turn when an armed individual committed a heinous attack on the officers.
This armed individual and the inmate were able to escape from this Idaho hospital, after striking two officers, critically injuring one of them. This prompted the entire hospital to stay on lockdown as officers were looking for the suspect and the inmate.
Additionally, another officer was on the scene and accidentally injured a fellow correctional officer. The reason for this was because this officer had seen someone armed and shot at them without warning. However, the officer did not sustain life-threatening injuries. All officers are currently in the process of recovery, and they are expected to make a full recovery.
The Future of This Incident
This incident was completely strategized and coordinated to ensure the release of this inmate. As of now, the Idaho inmate has not been captured yet and is still at large. This inmate and the accomplice are a huge danger to the entire state of Idaho.
Therefore, there is a large police presence within the state and different counties to ensure this inmate and his accomplice are brought to justice. Therefore, people all across the state are keeping an eye out for the inmate.
It is unclear if the police have anyone that the inmate could have gone to. However, they will surely be conducting a large-scale investigation into different persons of interest, to see if he is located with any of them.
