Recently, Jennifer Hudson received backlash after a performance. The 42-year-old woman performed at the NBA half-time show. She performed three of her songs. The songs were “Remission,” “Spotlight,” and “I Got This.” They believe her genre of music was not right for the event. Others wrote that she didn’t put effort or energy into her performance. While many others liked her performance. They wrote positive and uplifting tweets about her show.
Hudson was one of the 17 performers to earn the EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Awards) status. Still, social media described her show as “lack of flavor” and “unsuitable.” Furthermore, Jennifer has had many other accomplishments outside of that show. She has a career that involves music, Broadway, plus acting.

The singer Jennifer Hudson is a African American woman. She mostly spends her career singing and acting. Hudson played in the movie “Dreamgirls.” The movie was trending back when it released in 2006. She won a Golden Globe and an Oscar. Jennifer won a Grammy for the album she put out. In the year 2008 Jennifer went through a heartbreaking and traumatic experience. Jennifer’s brother, mother and nephew were killed. This made her take away time from her career to grieve. When she returned to work she was in multiple projects.

Jennifer Hudson was born on Sept. 12, 1981, in Chicago Illinois. The woman grew up singing in a church choir and graduated from Dunbar Career Academy. After she sung for a year on Disney she disappeared. After that she was excluded from the show. She went to Kennedy King College then after pursued to sing with Disney. The show she sung for Disney is “The Gospel Truth 2” in the movie “Hercules.”
In 2001, she transferred to Kennedy King College in her hometown. Jennifer studied music and appeared in a musical of the “Big River.” Hudson appeared on “American Idol” and performed in concerts for the past two years. She played in several movies like “Sing 2,” “Monster” and many more. Jennifer Hudson has one child named David Otunga Jr. This helped Hudson become happier and more joyful.
