The Key Bridge Collapse
As of recently, the Key Bridge, which is located in Baltimore, had collapsed after an accidental crash. The containment ship that was traveling under the bridge was constantly losing power, in which it resulted in the crash. The captain and the crew were trying their best to maneuver the ship away from the bridge, but to no avail. At the time, there were a couple of construction workers on the bridge, who were fixing potholes. All 6 workers ended up falling into the deep, dark waters, and were presumed dead at the time of the collapse. However, the search is still ongoing.
Who Were the Victims?
The victims were comprised of three Mexican nationals, a father from El Salvador, a father from Honduras, as well as two Guatemalans. Two of the three Mexican nationals are presumed dead, while the other was rescued. The father of three from El Salvador is still missing, as well as the father of two from Honduras.
The two Guatemalans are still missing as well. Unfortunately, U.S Coast Guard Rear Admiral Shannon Gilreath has made it clear, that due to the extensive search and rescue efforts, which lead to no avail, they will have to suspend the rescue efforts, and shift to a different issue.
This is news that no one wants to hear, especially the families of the missing workers.

What Issues Are They Shifting Towards?
Aside from trying to locate and rescue the missing workers, there are many other issues that need major attention. One of these issues is the cost and time it will take to repair this bridge, if possible. The Key Bridge was a major outlet for the city of Baltimore and was used by several thousands of people on a daily basis.
Therefore, repairs need to be done as quickly as possible, and that was made clear right away. Another issue they are trying to figure out is how to get the debris from the bridge out of the way. There were certainly some hazardous materials that were on the container ship, but none that are an actual threat to public safety.
Future of The Key Bridge
The entire city of Baltimore is grieving and supporting those that were affected by this collapse. Specifically, the families of the workers who are still missing. The city of Baltimore, as well as the United States in general, is praying for the safety of the workers, and healing for the families.
