Nikki Haley Campaign
Nikki Haley is one of the runners for the presidential office. She has made a lot of controversial comments about what she plans to do when she enters the office. One of the major ideologies in her campaign is completely shutting off the border to migrants.
Additionally, she is going to do what she called ‘catch and deport’ for those that already reside in the United States. Therefore, many people are surely worried, especially if they are trying to make an honest living and open more opportunities for their family.
Threats Concerning Nikki Haley
Therefore, as a result of these very controversial ideologies, she is receiving hatred from all over the country. She is also receiving hatred from other countries as well, as she is very against migrants. On the other hand, despite her receiving all of this backlash, she is also receiving praise, especially from Trump supporters, as it seems they have very similar viewpoints.
Therefore, there have been many people that have been conducting threats against her. Despite these threats, she has made it clear that she is not going to change her ideologies, nor is she going to hold herself back whatsoever. Increasing the presence of secret service agents is definitely something she is going to do, however.
The Future of This Event
It is obvious that the people that have made threats against her in any form should be prosecuted by the law. They can certainly receive harsh consequences for threatening a political officer. Despite the threats not necessarily being carried out, it is unknown which will or will not be carried out. Therefore, for her safety and those around her that she cares about, hiring extra security will certainly not hurt whatsoever.
Despite these threats, as aforementioned, she has made it clear that she will not back down. She mentions that she will not let these comments ruin her political reputation whatsoever, and will continue to stand by her views despite the controversy they bring. It is unknown if she will win the presidential office, but she certainly has a large following that will definitely back her up in any instance.
