As delightful as fans find Pedro Pascal off screen some have discovered the actors’ more ghastly side.
A TikTok video involving Pascal meeting one of his fans has gone viral due to one unusual detail — his regular coffee order is supercharged.
Mandalorian star and lead actor for “The Last Of Us” remake, Pascal is often very friendly in both interviews and rare witnesses with fans. This is why it was not unusual for the actor to happily chat with the static TikTok for a few seconds when caught outside. The fan shared the footage of the actor greeting her with a smile, taking a video together, and leaving with an autograph.
Originally that would be the end of the news, however, fans quickly noticed Pascal cradling a Starbucks cup in his hand. And the video allowed fans to take a look at what the action star puts in his coffee on an everyday afternoon.
Actually looking at what Pascal drinks were so shocking that some fans made a follow-up video to do a close-up analysis of his order. It shows that Pascal consumes six shots of expresso in his venti cup, accompanied by extra ice.
How Strong is Pascals Coffee
For reference, one shot of Starbucks expresso is equal to 63 mg of caffeine. Moreover, a singular cup of coffee typically has one hundred milligrams. While Pascal looks to be consuming close to 400 mg of caffeine and by extension – four to five cups of coffee in one day.
Health-wise, The Health and Drug Administration states that the safe limit for coffee consumption a day stands a 400mg. Thus, Pascal may not be overdoing the amount of caffeine tremendously he’s still toeing the edge with the amount consumed.
A majority of commenters had the same general consensus. Varying from shock to joking about whether Pascal needs so much caffeine in order to “carry the entire world and a fandom on his shoulders”.
“Our man is CAFFEINATED,” stated one comment. “Bro’s got coffee in his brains,” stated another.
Some commentators took the serious approach stating “He’s going to make himself sick” or that his coffee must be the equivalent of “tar”.
Fan’s Reaction To The Taste
Eventually, the same fans thought it was worthy enough to try it.
TikToker, Alexa, posted her reaction to trying the coffee herself. And anticlimactically claimed, “Wait-” and after another sip, “It’s actually really good.”
Some did not come to the same conclusion.
A dietarian TikToker this time. Before trying Pascal’s order, Abbey Sharp joked as she got the drink, “I’m pretty sure the barista was scared for my life. I’m not going to lie. I am too.”
After taking one sip viewers witnessed a hard cut to a closed bathroom door and the toilet flushing. Seemingly the coffee did not agree this time. Despite her starting off the video with the words, “I’m excited to try it – because if daddy likey then mamma likey,” she ended the video exiting the bathroom less enthusiastic.
That was like napalm for my bowels and I may not sleep for days.
In the captions she wrote, “No wonder Pedro Pascal is always smiling. This six-shot espresso on ice has enough juice to keep your girl up for DAYS. My bowels did not approve.”
