After an indictment for Donald Trump’s charges of trying to overturn an election, along with other crimes including hush money, he has the up to 72 hours to surrender himself.
In contrast to the situation, Trump’s public response on social media did not express any worries. Instead, Trump alluded to his requested appearance as something unnecessarily extreme.
I’ll be going to Atlanta, Georgia, on Thursday to be ARRESTED – Can you believe it? I’ll be going to Atlanta, Georgia, on Thursday to be ARRESTED by a Radical Left District Attorney, Fani Willis, who is overseeing one of the greatest Murder and Violent Crime DISASTERS in American History.
“In my case, the trip to Atlanta is not for ‘Murder,’ but for making a PERFECT PHONE CALL!
The phone call in question is a recorded call made between Trump and Brad Raffensperger, Georgia’s Secretary of State. The call is now evidence of Trump attempting to overturn the 2020 election, asking Raffensperger for help “finding” votes to overturn his loss.
Trumps Fulton County Jail Processing
At the start of 2023, around seven arrestees died in custody, all under questionable circumstances. For Trump, he will be officially processed and held on bond Thursday, August 22, 2023. Monday after trialed for interference in the Georgia election along with 18 co-defendants, Trump reached an agreement for a $200,000 bond.

While the CSH bond is not a significant restriction, the court has included special restrictions to Trump’s bond. This new order will include a cash bond as well as the prohibition of intimation through social media, reading as follows:
The Defendant shall perform no act to intimidate any person known to him or her to be a codefendant or witness in this case or to otherwise obstruct the administration of justice.
The above shall include, but are not limited to, posts on social media or reposts of posts made by another individual on social media.
Trump’s past criminal cases all followed a uniform trend. Trump’s Mar-a-Lago document case charge allowed his release with the agreement that he should have no contact with anyone who should be a witness in the case.
His New York case involving his involvement with hush money also was released on the agreement he should not communicate with anyone involved unless through an attorney. However, these agreements never specified communication through social media posts that target a wide audience.
Similar Defendants Bond Agreement
Co-defendants involved in the case also have a similar release agreement.
John Eastman and Kenneth Chesebro’s bond agreement is set to $100,000. Others have received similar amounts with equal agreements on communicating with others involved in the case. Because the defendants negotiate their terms of release before appearing in jail, it is unlikely they will have to follow the typical procedures. Typically, in Fulton County, the police will make an arrest, and as the arrestee is in holding, they will appear in front of the magistrate within 72 hours.
In preparation for possible civil unrest during the processing, law enforcement will increase at the complex.
During the initial court hearing on Monday, barricades were fixed around the courthouse in preparation as well. However, the trial passed quickly and quietly.
