Road Rage Prevalence
Road rage is an ever-evolving predicament that many people get themselves in. There are many occasions where people have a bad day and decide to take it out on others for simple mistakes on the road. However, there are instances where both parties are angry, and they take it out on each other, ending terribly for both parties involved. Furthermore, things can escalate so much that the police are called, and are forced to calm down the situation, which may end up with one or both in jail. In worst case scenarios, there are people that end up dead as a result of a road rage incident.
Woman Dies After Road Rage
After a road rage incident, the suspect that committed the crime had originally gotten upset at the victim. Therefore, this led the suspect to then make a U-turn. He then drove at a high rate of speed, to which he struck the victim and sent her to the hospital in critical condition. The family of the victim has spoken out and mentioned that she has passed away due to her injuries.
There were also several complications with the surgery that she was undergoing to try and combat her injuries. Ryan Sweatt, 36, has been charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. However, his sentence is still to be decided, as he has still not appeared in court quite yet. In addition, Sweatt added that this may have been in self-defense, as the people in the car behind him had threatened to kill him. Further down the road, is when he made the decision to turn around and do what he did.

The Future of This Incident
Many need to take into consideration that it is not worth it to have incidents of road rage. They are very dangerous encounters and can end up with someone’s life being taken senselessly. It is important to try and stay calm in these situations, and simply drive away from the scene to ensure everyone’s safety. Road rage can lead to torn families, and many people losing their loved ones for a simple mistake on the road.
