Cancer in 2024
Cancer has been found to hit higher levels in younger American people. Furthermore, experts expect this diagnosis to hit the top two million for the first time this year. With this happening, it is being found that there are fewer people that are dying from having the disease. But more people are finding to have it and it very well may have worsened.
Some signs of cancer
Unexplained weight loss or loss of appetite may be a sign of cancer, as well as it being a sign of many other things. However small amounts of weight loss is very normal, but major weight loss in a short time frame is not good; This is something you should watch if you are starting to become concerned about your health.
Skin changes is also a sign of cancer, changes in birthmarks or moles. If you have a sore that does not heal, and that does not mean when you keep picking at it and it just will not heal. If you leave it be and it doesn’t heal or continues to get infected or worse it may be a sign of cancer.
Lumps, constant lumps on any part of your body is something that you should get seen for as soon as possible. It is not a good sign, and it for sure scary. Another sign is if you are having major changes in your bowel or bladder function system it isn’t something you should take lightly.
Here is a big one, changes in your breasts. Lumps in your breasts, dimpling, discoloring or changes around the nipples. As well as unusual discharges that you never had before.
Shocking upcoming in tests
Doctors are also finding a lot of people with similar stories. No family medical history of cancer and no signs of cancer themselves. But end up testing positive for this disease out of nowhere. The most common include melanoma, breast, kidney, prostate, pancreatic, and endometrial.
As the doctors have observed overall cancer deaths are on the decline due to advancements in treatment, early detection, and fewer smokers.
There are many options for most people whom have this diagnosis, especially if you catch it at an early stage. Do not lose hope if you are one of those people who has cancer. It is scary, yes. But there is always options. Take the time to learn about that before making a choice that you will regret later on.
