AC Milan is looking to get their top-four challenge back on track when they host Fiorentina at San Siro.
Gennaro Gattuso’s side has tied their last two games, 0-0, and they have won seven of their first 16 top-flight games in the 2018 season.
The game will be played on Saturday, Dec. 22 at the San Siro. It will be played at 2 p.m. U.K. time. Last time Fiorentina visited they were thrashed 5-1.
The game will not be broadcast live in the U.K., however, SunSport will be reporting a minute-by-minute live blog from Milan.
AC Milan’s midfielder Franck Kessie is suspended for Fiorentina’s game. The Cote D’Ivoire international will sit out of Saturday’s Serie A fixture at the San Siro Stadium due to the accumulation of yellow cards.
Kessie received his fifth yellow card of the season in the Rossoneri’s goalless draw against Bologna on Tuesday and will serve a one-match ban as punishment.
His suspension worries Gennaro Gattuso’s side who is fourth in the league standings as they chase their first win after two consecutive draws in the Italian top-flight.
The 21-year-old player has been a key force in Milan’s team this season – starting all their 16 league games and has contributed three goals and an assist.
Milan will also be without Chelsea loanee Tiemoue Bakayoko after he was sent off during the midweek fixture at Stadio Renato Dall’Ara.
