Actress Cindy Morgan has died at the age of 69. Furthermore, there is not much information known about her cause of death, like where she was etc., at this time. However, Fox News Digital reported a representative for the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Morgan died a “few days ago.” Additionally, the representative told Fox News Digital her death was due to natural causes.

Early Years

She was birthed with the name Cynthia Ann Cichorski on Sept. 29, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois. Additionally, her father was a Polish factory worker and her mother was German. Furthermore, Morgan spent 12 years of her education in a Catholic school. Afterward, she became the first in her family to attend college.

When she was 12 years old, Morgan started using her professional name, Cindy Morgan. Subsequently, she took her name from a story she read about King Arthur’s half-sister Morgan le Fay.

College Years

MorganInitially, she had been accepted to the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT), with an interest in Mechanical Engineering. However, after spending four years in Mother Theodore Guerin High School for Girls (now Guerin Prep), she changed her mind. At that time IIT was a primarily male college.

Instead, she chose to attend Northern Illinois University, where she earned degrees in English and Communications. While there she worked as a DJ on the campus radio station, according to Wikipedia.

Start of Her Career

Afterward, a commercial station invited Morgan to report the news for them. At this time she officially adopted her professional last name. Additionally, she worked the graveyard shift at a local rock station.

Furthermore, when she returned to Chicago she took a job as a deejay on WSDM. However, after a labor dispute she quit her job, while on air. Subsequently, she walked of her shift leaving a record spinning on the turntable, according to Wikipedia. After which, she began working for Fiat Automobile.

Becoming a Star

In 1978, Morgan moved to Los Angeles where she worked as an Irish Spring girl. In addition to doing commercials, she attended acting school and workshops.

Thus leading to her first major screen role working alongside Chevy Chase, Rodney Dangerfield, and Bill Murray in “Caddyshack.” In the movie she played the sexy bombshell of  Lacy Underall, niece of the country club owner.

Two years later she starred in the 1982 film “Tron,” where she played Lora and Yori. One was a “real” world girl while the other was her digital alter-ego. Furthermore, she held two roles int the primetime soap opera “Falcon Crest.” She also did appearances on “Matlock,” “CHIPs,” “Amazing Stories,” and “The Larry Sanders Show.”

Gone but Not Forgotten

Since news of her death, tributes to Morgan have flooded the internet. Many stating how they had a childhood crush on her, others sending prayers to her family. Overall, they all felt Morgan had “a lovely, talented, warm presence.’

So sorry to hear of the passing of Chicago's Cindy Morgan. Before starring in "Caddyshack" and "Tron," Cindy was a DJ at the old WSDM-FM. What a lovely and talented and warm presence. pic.twitter.com/5tO5mB3qjF
