Chicago residents can save a bit of money at the pumps today at certain Circle K gas stations today between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. The company will be offering patrons a 40-cent discount at almost 300 locations throughout Illinois, Missouri, and Iowa. It is part of the Fuel Day promotions they hold every so often.
Gerardo Valencia Trujillo, Circle K’s Vice President of Operations, Heartland Business Unit, stated, “We were thrilled with the great customer response to our last fuel day event before the holidays, which is why we’re bringing this great event back for an encore.”
We hope the additional savings will make it easier for our customers at a time when they’re looking for a little relief from that financial pinch following their holiday spending.
Fuel Day Rewards
Many people are happy about the Fuel Day reward happening later today. With the recent inflation affecting everyone across the nation and the holiday season passing, saving 40 cents per gallon is a huge relief.
In September 2022, Circle K hosted a Fuel Day event just at 3,600 locations across the United States. Just before the Labor Day holiday weekend people were able to save some money at the pumps.
Nathan Woodland, head of North America category fuels at Circle K, said the summer had caused a challenge for people to travel. To thank their customers for their “loyalty” the company wanted to offer “them additional savings ahead of the busy holiday.” This ended “the summer on a high note,” added Woodland.
It also kicked “off an entire month of deals inside” all of the Circle K locations.
Anyone wanting to check for a Circle K location near them can do so here. The 40 cent savings will be seen at many of their branches including their Shell brand fuels.
A heads-up for drivers: Circle K will be offering 40 cents off per gallon of fuel at participating Illinois stations. https://t.co/iYRZ90NlCz
