Former President, Donald Trump, is facing another indictment. When he left office in 2021, he took classified documents with him. A few months ago he faced his first indictment in New York for the documents he confiscated. Trump has received a summons to appear in Maimi federal court at 3 p.m. on Tuesday.
New Indictment
The former president is facing at least seven counts, according to ABC News. “This ranges from everything from the willful retention of national defense information to conspiracy to a scheme to conceal to false statements and representations,” ABC News’ Katherine Faulders reported
In a post on social media, Trump stated he knew about the indictment. He insisted the case was a “hoax” while continuing to deny any wrongdoing.
In August 2022, FBI agents raided his home at his Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida. That is where they found the hundreds of classified government documents.
Social Media Voices
His son Donald Trump Jr. tweeted his displeasure.
On the same day that a story broke about a whistleblower alleging Joe Biden took a 5 million dollar bribe from Burisma in Ukraine, Biden’s corrupt DOJ decides to indict Trump over BS charges. Do you really think that’s a coincidence?
Furthermore, people replied things like, “Your dads a crook. Dates have nothing to do with that fact” and “Trumps crime is ahead of Biden. Be patient.” Additionally, other people were outraged:
- “Think MAGA! We have been played!! Wray let GOP see the papers but no copy to show the American people. At the same time they indict Trump and it is all the media is talking about!!”
- “As an American, everyone should be appalled by the abuse displayed against Trump.”
