Who Gypsy Is
Gypsy Rose is a 32-year-old women, who went to jail for having her ex boyfriend kill her mother. She was sentenced to a 8 1/2 years and the ex boyfriend was sentenced to life in prison. Recently, she was released and is getting a chance to live a normal life.
Gypsy Rose grew up in Missouri and lived with her mom for most of her life. When she was around 8 years old when the drama of her life all started. It was at this time, her mom started saying she had different health conditions. Ones that made her dependent on her mother to survive. However, as the world eventually found out, this was not the case.
What Her Mom Did
Some of the conditions her mom started saying she had was leukemia and muscular dystrophy, among many others. Her mom did this to make her think she needed a wheel chair and a feeding tube.
Furthermore, her mom also made the doctors think Gypsy Rose’s allege conditions were true. In a video Gypsy’s mom made, she was spoke about how her daughter had sleep apnea as an infant.
What Happen After All This
Later, the mom insisted that Gypsy Rose had seizures, asthma, and hearing and visual issues. Her stories, once again, made her daughters doctors think so too. She made them give her medications and perform surgeries for these conditions that she made up. Additionally, Gypsy said that her mom had hit her and tie her to beds, if she did not listen. At one point in her life, she met her ex boyfriend Nicholas Godejohn.
Nicholas and Gypsy met on a dating site for Christian Singles. Before they linked up or anything, they texted for two years. They met when Gypsy was 24 and her ex was 26. When they first met up, it was at a movie where Gypsy’s mom was there. Eventually, they ended up sneaking to the bathroom have intercourse.
Once Gypsy end up telling her boyfriend about all the mentally and physically abuse her mom did to her through out her life. He did not like that. In a video she made, she stated how Nicholas told her that he would do anything for her because he loved her. When Gypsy heard this she and Nicholas came up when a plan to kill her mother.
So, they came to a agreement to eliminate the mother. He came over at the designated time and stabbed her mom 17 times. All the while, Gypsy hid in the bathroom and covered her ears.
