Previously in 2023, Jimmy expressed his goal to surpass T-Series’ YouTube subscriber count as a tribute to PewDiePie, who is the former holder of the most-subscribed YouTuber title. More than a year after announcing his ambition, MrBeast achieved this milestone, surpassing T-Series with over 260 million subscribers.
In just a little over a month after reaching his goal of surpassing the Indian music label T-Series, MrBeast has then made history as the first youtuber to reach 300 million subscribers. After reaching this noteworthy achievement, Jimmy expressed his excitement on X (formerly known as twitter), reminiscing “I remember freaking out when I hit 300 subscribers 11 years ago.. lol.”
MrBeast Gets Congratulated On His Success
Thanks to Jimmy’s incredible number of subscribers, the CEO of YouTube reached out to congratulate him on social media. On July 11, Neal Mohan, YouTube’s CEO since February 2023, playfully tweeted that he had initially planned to congratulate MrBeast on reaching 300 million subscribers, but had to amend it to nearly 400 million by the time he posted, because of Jimmy’s rapid growth. Mohan’s tweet quoted Jimmy’s announcement of his 300 million subscriber milestone.
Even after reaching the latest milestone in subscriber count, the 26-year-old content creator remains steadfast in his commitment to creating engaging content, showcasing steadfast dedication and a relentless pursuit of excellence. Showing no indications of him easing up any time soon.
