Covid has been increasingly growing in Chinese homes and workplaces. The pandemic rules aren’t a thing anymore since last week.
Civilians are confused whilst workers in clinics are struggling with the spike in recent cases.
The Statistics
Following public outcry against the country’s harsh “zero covid” laws. Officials reported the previous week a significant relaxation of necessities for test results, healthcare passes, monitoring, and quarantines. In the days since clinics had also noticed an increase in sick people. Countless numbers of health workers have now become infected with the illness.
At a press conference held on Monday, Beijing officials stated that 22,000 sick, managed to visit fever clinics the day before. This was 16 times the total days the last week.
“Patients who visit the fever clinic have grown several times compared with last week, and it’s likely to go on for weeks or even months more,” she said.
NHC’s Announcement
The National Health Commission kicked off a campaign on Sunday. They want to make sure that important district hospitals have enough emergency supplies and ICU tools. Near the end of this month, clinics must increase their staffing by between 20 and 30 percent as well as create a highly contagious department.
Ninety percent of countryside hospitals have fever departments. Quarantine stations will be renewed in hospitals. Around 8,000 plus people tested positive.

China’s New Strategy
China officially confirmed that it will only publish information on symptomatic COVID infectious diseases as it tries to maintain the viral infection at the coast after resting from the no COVID prohibitions.
According to Reuters, China’s Meheco Group has agreed to supply Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine. The country has produced treatments on its own, but statistics on their efficacy are struggling. According to Bloomberg, the very same company is going to sell Pfizer’s anti-COVID drug Paxlovid in China.
