Congratulations are in order for Nick Cannon, the 40-year old former “Wild ‘N Out” host, now hosting the American version of “The Masked Singer.” Metro reported Saturday, May 22, 2021, that the former model on his “Wild ‘N Out” series, Alyssa Scott, is expecting, and he is the father. If he is the father, this would be his seventh child, with four either born or conceived within the past six months.
After a short courtship, he and his ex-wife Mariah Carey were married in 2008, separated in 2014, and divorced in 2016. The two of them are devoted parents to their 10-year old twins, Monroe and Moroccan. He also has a three-year-old son Golden and daughter Powerful Queen, born in December 2020, with ex-girlfriend and model Brittany Bell. Girlfriend DJ Abby De La Rosa also shared back in December that she was expecting twins. Scott, who is 34 weeks pregnant, recently posted a picture of herself with a baby bump on her Instagram page, along with the name ‘Zen S. Cannon.’ When asked questions regarding the father, Scott was elusive, responding with heart-face emojis. That photo has been deleted.
She and Cannon were seen in October 2020 getting into his Rolls Royce with his arms around her while leaving the Malibu hotspot, Nobu, after celebrating her birthday.
Cannon has had lots of high-profile relationships. He and Victoria’s Secret runway model Jessica White were in a relationship just before his divorce from Carey was final. White says they were in a committed relationship for six years and found out about Bell’s pregnancy right after she herself suffered a miscarriage.
In December 2019, he told good friend T.I. that he respects polyamorous situations and would never again get married, but he wanted more kids. He told his pal:
I believe that relationships and marriage are designed to please women. Once I stepped away from my marriage with Mariah, I knew I would never get married again.
