The Red Bull Showcase in Chicago
At this time Chicago will host the Red Bull Show run next month. As a result, a 2,000-foot temporary “pop-up” track will be placed down Madison Street, in the parking, and the lot surrounding the United Center will be used to display the speed and agility of the Formula One Grand Prix winning race vehicle RB7.
After all the event is scheduled on September 29 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. In addition, Street freestyle motorcycle rider Aaron Colton will perform live in conjunction with the show runs. Above all, the Red Bull Pit Stop Challenge and racing simulators allow fans to put their skills to the test.

The Event

The Formula One Grand Prix-winning race vehicle RB7 will do a free demonstration run in Chicago thanks to Red Bull. A temporary track down Madison Street and in the parking, lots surrounding the United Center will be utilized to demonstrate the speed and agility of the RB7 car, which was used in the 2011 Formula One season.
To demonstrate The Red Bull Racing team travels to the United Center on the city’s near west side as Red Bull Showrun makes its debut in Chicago.
Get ready for an extraordinary event that will make fans’ hearts beat almost as quickly as an F1 car. Fans will be able to see the Formula 1 car up close and personal at this event, which will bring people together in a fun-filled, family-friendly setting.
Additionally, Red Bull competed in the 2011 Formula One season with the RB7 vehicle.
Other Races Held in Chicago

In July 2023, NASCAR held races on the streets of Chicago’s Downtown.
The start/finish line and pit road were along South Columbus Drive in front of Buckingham Fountain. The 2.2-mile, 12-turn route will encompass Lake Shore Drive, Michigan Avenue, Columbus Drive, and nearby streets. According to city officials, the route will go through Grant Park near the lakefront and go close to Soldier Field’s northern boundary.
After NASCAR had an Esports 2.2-mile virtual race around the city last year. Discussions to bring the event to Chicago began, Mayor Lori Lightfoot told reporters last year. The excitement around NASCAR races in Chicago, according to the mayor, is “off the charts,” and she is optimistic that the event will be a success.

Entertainment of the NASCAR Event
“This is a massive, massive sports town… “I think it’s going to be one of the most iconic racecourses maybe ever. The opportunity to bring something so unique as NASCAR to the city of Chicago,” Lightfoot said. “We couldn’t let that chance slip away.”
According to the city, there will be music and entertainment events surrounding the races for individuals of all ages. Regardless, the sale of tickets will start later this year.
The opportunity to race in Chicago was described as “exciting” by NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace, who took part in the street course in July.
