Late-night television hosts indulge themselves and their audiences by roasting the president. This week was no different; he threw temper tantrums while claiming the election is rigged — the election he lost. By Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2020, the world knew Donald Trump adamantly refuses to concede after Joe Biden was handed the victory three days earlier:

They’re trying to steal the election and we can’t let them.

Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon, Seth Meyers, James Corden, Stephen Colbert, and Trevor Noah did not hold back. As usual, they mocked Trump’s loss and laughed at his antics. But this week, there seemed to be a relaxed but cautious mood.

TrumpEven though the president lost, the election will not be certified until mid-December — the country has learned in the last four and a half years that when it comes to Trump, nothing is a given.

“The Tonight Show” host, Fallon joked about who should deliver the bad news — his staff pieced together a video of a younger Donald teller the older, “You’re fired,” as he exclaimed weekly on his canceled reality-TV show “The Apprentice.”

On “The Late Show,” Cobert reminded viewers that Trump wants everyone to believe that America will never know who won the election. “But we do know. We know it’s Joe. And come January 20, Donald Trump will know it too.”

Meyers took it a bit further on “Late Night.” He said Trump and nearly the entire GOP are attempting ‘to delegitimize the election and blow up our democracy.” Meyers talked about the conspiracy theory that Democrats rigged the ballot count.

“The Daily Show” host, Noah, continued where Meyers left off:

You’re telling me that the crafty Democrats have used their satanic powers to steal the election, but for some reason, they didn’t steal the senate?

Noah declared Trump should be mad at is himself and no one else. “He started on third base and still somehow lost the game.”

Jimmy Kimmel talked about Twitter posts from the president’s followers that claimed he won the popular vote — if California’s voters are excluded. “Right. And if you don’t count the murders, Ted Bundy was a pretty good dude,” he added.

The “Jimmy Kimmel Live” host reminded his audience that it would time for Trump to come to terms with the loss. “I mean, this is not the first time that he’s ever failed at anything.” Really? The president’s history is filled with failure after failure.
