Lloyd Austin and His Long Battle
The Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has been battling with a severe form of cancer for a long time now. He has kept it hidden from many people until recently, because he did not want anyone to worry too much about it. He was working hard to get it under control and was working even harder to maintain himself healthy. However, it has been a very treacherous road, and he has been battling for a very long time now, but unfortunately, it seems things have gotten worse instead of better. He is being looked after intensively, as it seems his cancer has gotten worse.
What Exactly is His Diagnosis?
It seems there is not much of a clear diagnosis quite yet. However, not too long ago he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, in which he needed to be treated immediately in order to prevent it from spreading even more. However, recently, he had to transfer his duties to his deputy, as he had apparent bladder issues that had him admitted to intensive care. He made this public immediately, since his former diagnosis was kept ‘under the rug’ and angered many people. Many Americans, after that incident, were questioning the transparency of the government, and the government wanted to make things right.

The Future of Lloyd Austin’s Diagnosis and Treatment
The hope remains that his diagnosis is reversed, and that he begins to feel relief as soon as possible. Originally, he had a meeting that was scheduled in Belgium. This would have been his first trip overseas since his initial diagnosis. However, it had to be postponed due to this new diagnosis and will be transferred to a virtual meeting to make it easier for Austin. Therefore, any type of cancer is always scary news, and should be taken with upmost seriousness, and should be taken care of as soon as possible. If not, it can become something way more dangerous, even fatal.
It truly is devastating to hear that he is having to undergo something of this nature, but it is safe to say that the doctors will do everything they can to stabilize his condition.
