In August of 2020 the United States Census Bureau announced that they were going to end the data collection on Sept. 30, 2020. Since there announcement they have ramped up their efforts in gathering the information needed.
Every person living in the U.S. is counted. This allows proper government funding to be filtered into cities and suburbs that needs help.
Place like Chicago, Los Angeles and other big cities that have extremely poor or homelessness issues. Gathering an accurate count of people residing in the U.S. helps ensure there community is properly connected.
Knowing that the Census data collection ends soon, people need to fill out the questionnaire today. There are many ways to fill out the questionnaire. One way is through the mail.
In March the U.S. Census began sending the questionnaire in the mail. This year they started a website to help people fill out the forms. They also have people on the streets, knocking on doors, trying to ensure they aquire the proper information.
