On Monday, a woman was found stabbed to death in the South Loop. She was 32 years old. She was found around 2 p.m. and taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital and pronounced dead, according to police.
The woman was stabbed in her chest in a condominium in the 1900 block of South State Street, reports the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Tuesday afternoon, police questioned a person of interest. No arrests have been made and no charges have been filed. However, police have the person of interest in custody.
The woman’s name has not been released.
