A research team at the University of Central Florida warns users of the dangers of vaping and e-cigarettes. A doctor by the name of Claudia Andl led the investigation. “Some of our recent studies have shown that there are lots of short-term effects that affect the health of your mouth, tooth loss and cavities,” she stated. Dr. Andl is also researching whether vaping has chemicals that can cause cells to take on properties that can cause them to become cancerous.
Causes of the Inflictions
Dr. Andl reports that even without the tar in the smoke, vaping still directly impacts the mouth and the lungs. The biggest factor in her research points to the fact that most vapes come with flavor, making them popular amongst young people and adults. Dr. Andl stated, “Twenty-five percent of high schoolers have been reported to smoke or vape.”
Not Worth The Risk

“If I talked to my two teenage daughters at home, they would say that probably the numbers are actually higher. What do they expect 30 years from now?” said the doctor. “We all know cancer is also something that doesn’t happen overnight.”
Dr. Andl urges teenagers and adults who use vapes to take the matter more seriously, as they can lead to overall permanent damage to your health.
